We think success comes down to two things. The first is our talented teams. The second is support. We are always on the lookout for talented team members to join our Fitness and Retail teams in a variety of roles and locations across the UK.

We have two Support Centres based in Wigan, Greater Manchester and Poole, Dorset who are both hubs of activity supporting our network of clubs and stores to ensure they are set up to provide our customers and members with all the support, inspiration and fitness innovations and products they deserve.

GENERAL MANAGERS

Our General Managers lead from the front; taking accountability for their club by inspiring their teams to deliver our vision. They are responsible for driving the business performance of their club, growing membership, profitability and executing our brand messages. They do this through building a winning team around them, who are focused on delivering a great service and great fitness products, in an inspiring and safe environment.

FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM

Our Front of House teams are passionate about people and ensuring that all of our members and guests receive exceptional service on each visit to our clubs. They create an atmosphere full of energy & fun on the gym floor and are always there to answer any queries and provide advice. We are looking for like minded people who love talking to our members, who want to inspire others and are able to support them to reach their goals.

FITNESS TEAMS

Our Fitness teams are qualified experts inspiring and educating our members to go further in fitness every day. They make sure each club is a safe and fun environment to workout in by bringing our fitness products to life. It may be by delivering classes, helping a new member get started, providing advice, support and energy to keep our members motivated. We are looking for people with a passion for fitness who want to inspire others to achieve their fitness goals and represent DW Fitness First’s innovative fitness product.

SALES TEAMS

Our sales departments embrace energetic and inspiring teams with a passion to educate and attract potential members into our clubs to begin their journey with DW Fitness First. Working together in a fast paced, target driven environment they thrive on their successes and the achievement of their goals to inspire others. They plan sales campaigns to attract guests and work with the business to maximise the retention of our members. Within our DW clubs we have a team of General Assistants who ensure our gym floors and facilities are up to standard and provide a first class environment for our members to train in.

STORE MANAGEMENT

Our store management teams are passionate about sport, they understand the products and how best to provide first class customer service. Responsible for the running and management of their own stores, they constantly drive for success and encourage our customers to get active.

SALES ASSISTANTS

Our sales assistants are the first point of customer interaction, they are passionate about retail and sport, they engage with customers and ensure their shopping experience is second to none.

MARKETING

Our marketing department is a fast- paced exciting and creative place to work. They understand our members and customer, how they tick, what motivates them and what they need from DW Fitness First. The Marketing department support both the retail and fitness functions developing campaigns, and using member and customer insight to ensure our offering is always fit for purpose.

FINANCE

Our finance team aren’t just here to crunch the numbers; they support the wider business in a decision making and advisory role, ensuring we are able to manage our business effectively. The department consists of a number of teams including management accounting, payroll and purchase ledger.

HUMAN RESOURCES

At DW Fitness First we support our people and teams to enable them to aim higher. Supporting teams across Retail, Fitness and the Support Centre and with talent, reward, organisational development and employee relations under our remit the HR department is a constant hub of activity.

CUSTOMER AND MEMBER SERVICES

At DW Fitness First, we are passionate about our members and customers, we care about each and every one and want to ensure their shopping and member experience is second to none. Our Customer and Member services team listen to feedback and proactively resolve queries.

LEISURE OPERATIONS

The leisure operations team keep our fitness clubs running, they provide support for our front of house teams, ensure we meet out health and safety obligations and includes our field teams who help manage and drive our fitness clubs

CORPORATE SALES

Our Corporate Sales team are responsible for ensuring our corporate clients are maintained and protected, ensuring they get the best product offering at the best price. The team are known for their communication skills and ability to build relationships and understand client needs.

PROPERTY AND MAINTENANCE

Our Property team manage the upkeep and maintenance of our clubs, stores and support centre. They ensure each site offers an outstanding environment for our customer to visit and our members to train in. It is their job to carry out our refresh and refurbishment programmes as well as being instrumental in the opening of our new sites.

E-COMMERCE

E-Commerce is at the heart of the evolving DW Fitness First business. In mid 2017 we launched a new, state of the art web platform with a host of great capabilities. The E-Commerce team covers web design and development, user experience, digital marketing (SEO, paid search, email, social, etc) merchandising and customer experience. As a growing team, they are a great place for anyone looking to learn and advance in their E-Commerce career.

LOGISTICS

Our logistics team keep the wheels of the business turning, from processing and picking customer orders to ensuring our stores have the right stock, in the right place at the right time. With the aim of being as efficient and effective as possible, they work across a variety of shift patterns to ensure we are best able to serve our customers.

IT

Our IT department not only support our fitness clubs and retail stores on a day to day basis; they are also instrumental in future proofing the business, implanting and delivering on a number of our exciting and innovative projects.
